From on high do we descend...
It's fascinating that when we are at our most high point or perhaps experiencing a wonderful chapter within the ongoing epic that is our life that that moment leads not simply to a slight decline but an almost inevitable plummet into the darkness that for a brief moment seemed miles away. Why is our existance like this? Perhaps the descend from our transending position isn't as grandiose or horrific as we make it out to be. All we know is that we no longer where we were meant to be, where we were happy. Our perfection has been ripped from our fingertips and hearts, leaving us huddled and writhing alone in the dark. The pain that wells ups from within bursts forth from your throat and the agony which your voice tries to express compares little to the reality of the atrosity bubbling in your soul. And we as humans.. as people... suffer these pains day to day. Truding along in the squaler that we have made for ourselves reaching and longing for that place one again. Yet, when we finally climb to the stellar heights of our birth right, something always seems to knock us down. It's a vicious cycle.
