Another Fun Weekend
So Yay my show finally opened last weekend and you know what that means?! ... I'm FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's right boys and girls. I am now available for your enjoyment. hehehe. But really, I had a fabulous weekend.
Friday night I went to the play, of course I had to watch my own show and I had to go on opening weekend. I must say that it went smashingly well and the audience did quite enjoy what they saw. Afterwards, Mel (one of my assistants), Adrin (my cutter/draper), and I went to Sonic for Ice Cream and food. Then we headed back to Mel's dorm where we watched the movie French Kiss. I had never seen this movie before but I quite enjoyed it. Of course we didn't get done till almost 2. I drove Adrin back to her place where she was staying and came back to my apt.
It's 2 am Saturday morning. Now usually you'd think I'd go straight to bed, but no. I had to finish packing and getting ready to go to the Texas Renaissance Festival which is held in a little area north of Houston. My friends and I had decided as a gift to myself and me needing the time off, we'd take a little road trip down and have some fun. So at about 3:30, I laid down to rest until my friends came to pick me up. Before I knew it, I was dreaming of knocking. Someone was knocking on my window in my dream and I thought to myself. "Why are they knocking on my window to get into the apt. complex. That's just silly. Then I realized .... OH! And woke up. Nick and Poe were standing at my door waiting for me. Thankfully I had already packed all my stuff so I just gathered it up and we all piled back into Nick's truck. I was greeted warmly by Libby (Nick's g/f), and Nikki ( Poe's g/f). Where is my b/f in this scenerio? That's a good question! At the moment, he is non-existant. However, the position is still open and I am taking applications. **wink wink** Jerks, Losers, and the like need not apply. Ok I got sidetracked. Anywho.. the five of us drove down to Houston. We talked for a while, sang for a while, slept for a while. The usual on a road trip. Apparently I scared Poe and Libby because I fell asleep and you see.. I have the tendency to sleep with my eyes open. For a while.. I think Poe thought I was dead. lol. It's always amusing when people start telling me about how they were really freaked. I guess I really should warn people about that little quirk of mine. Meh...
We got to the area around 10 and we found where the Festival was being held. But decided that before going in, we'd better find a hotel.
.. bah.. I gotta run to class. I'll finish this blog later. **waves**
