Living it Up in Cali

That's right folks. I just moved to Santa Maria, California and I must say, I'm loving it. It is awesome here! The weather is nice, the scenery is beautiful, the people are friendly, and it's just awesome! I'm working at the PCPA Theaterfest as a Costume Craft Artisan. My first week has been pretty good so far. We worked on shoes the first couple days putting on new dance rubber which I must say is a lot more labor intensive than you would think. It took us about two days to do it. Then Angie and I made a couple little skull cap hats and then spent the last couple days cleaning and repairing other hats and jewelry. Our supervisor Fred said that if we worked any faster we wouldn't have any more work to do.

All the people at PCPA have been very nice. We've been to two BBQ's already and it's just great. Since Angie and I are Crafts, we work in another room than all the other Costume girls. Our room is much smaller than the main Costume room, but it's also a lot bigger than the craft room at UNT, ALOT bigger! I'm learning so much and I love my job. This is great and I am so blessed to be able to be here. Yay! Life is good!
