Oh those crazy nights!

hehehe.. so, I had a really really fun evening. Well, I just had a great Saturday. I spent the first half of the day with my friend Claire and then the second half with Pam.

Claire and I started the day off with a lovely lunch at Panera. We just enjoyed each others company and wonderful wonderful food. I had never eaten there before and I must say, it was fabulous! After lunch we headed over to Kohl's where Claire purchased some luggage that she needed to get up to Chicago and for the inevitable trip back to Cali for Christmas Break. We then wandered about the mall, talking, shopping, buying out the mall, and just having a great time. We talked about the stupidity and foolishness of boys, we talked about God, we talked about theatre, what we wanted from life, who we were, and just anything that popped into our pretty little heads. hehehe. We then managed to make our way out to Borders where we bought way too many books. Mmm... books. Love em! Then we tramped around Target thinking of ways to decorate for Christmas and what we should eventually get for our families. It was good times. I love having Claire as a friend. It's just so wonderful and refreshing to have a close Christian friend again.

After the merriment with Claire, Pam came over to my place. We drank some wine, talked, I ate dinner, and then we had some Mead (which is wonderful, especially warm), talked some more,I got ready for the evening, and then we headed over to her place. There we talked some more, had a little bit more wine, and she primped and prepared for the our night of fun. Once all gussied up, we made our way over to my friend Jason's house. There we watched some t.v., talked with the other people, played with the puppy, took a Moonshine shot, and then headed out for some dancing. The walk wasn't too bad. I had expected it to be much more cold, but it wasn't bad at all.

Once at the bar/club, we kind of shmoozed for a couple minutes, but as quick as a flash, Pam and I headed out towards the dance floor. We spent the rest of the evening cutting a rug out there. At one point, this guy started dancing with me. Now I'm generally ok with someone dancing with me if they can keep up and don't touch me. But this guy was all up in my face, all over me, and not the most attractive guy at all. In fact, he kind of reminded me of a retarded Michael Myers. lol. But oh well, I eventually got him to leave us alone.

After the bar, Pam and I seperated from Jason and his friends and we stopped for a bite to eat at Jimmy John's. As we munched on our sandwiches, this really uber cute guy asked to sit with us. He sat down next to me and started chatting with us. His eyes were really red and his voice quite scratchy, but it was still fun talking with him. But it was getting late and Pam and I were tired, so we headed back to her place.

Once getting there, Pam realized she didn't have her keys and that we were locked out. So not kewl! I called Jason and let him know that there was a possibility that we might have to crash at his place. But Pam was determined to get into her house. She tried to climb up the roof but couldn't get up there. She even hopped a fence and then tried to walk along another to get up to it, but accidently broke the neighbor's fence. lol. We ran for it! Again, she didn't want to leave just yet and wanted to give it some more thought. I walked up to the door, pulled out my keys and started fiddling with the lock. And you won't believe it.. as I worked on it, I unlocked the door! Crazy!!! We were astonished and amazed, but oh so thankful to be able to get inside. And her keys were laying on her bed. rofl.

It was a fun and eventful day. I had a great time and got to spend a lot of good quality time with my friends. Yay Urbana! Yay Gradschool! Yay Rogueing! Yay Jesus!
