The night I've been waiting for for months!
That's right. April 23rd! The night when Sam's band "Arkangel" played at The Door in Dallas with one of our favorite bands, Joy Electric!!! I totally rearranged my schedule just so I could go to this concert. I had been so excited and it was all worth it. The concert was awesome! Sam played wonderfully, sang great and so did Holly. You guys Rock!!! Sadly they didn't play very many songs b/c of the tight time schedule and well the lighting in that place sucked! All of it was off of some old pars that were badly gelled and most were in the back. So there wasn't enough front light to really get many decent photos and way too much back lighting. Other than that, Arkangel still rocked! It was wonderful! After Sam played a band called "Goat Explosion" played. Yeah lets not talk about them. **snooze** hehehe. Then a group, well it was just one guy, called "The Gold" played. They were fairly decent. A few of their songs were pretty good. But it was all acoustic, nothing dancy or fun. Lastly, Joy Electric played! Yay! They totally rocked! I love Joy E. The music was just fab. Unfortunately I only knew 2 of the songs they played, but they were still great. Yes, it was a good night.
Yeah so Bob was supposed to come to the show last night and he was supposed to come over today to make up for not coming before. Right!!! Guess what happened?! Someone slashed all four of his tires. Oh my goodness!! What in the world? That is just terrible. Who could do such a terrible thing. BULL!!!!! I knew something would happen. Something always happens! Well I give up. I'm done. I'm not trying anymore. And you know, before I would have cried and been all upset and sad. But I really don't care anymore. I really don't. If that's how he's going to be, who needs him. I don't! When he decides he's going to be a man and decides what he really wants, he can call me or something. I'm spent! lol! .......... Though I had this little problem with him, I can't say anything bad came out of it. I did get to see Jacob last night. He of course was at the show. **sighs** He is so cuters! **giggles** hehehe I'm getting all girlie now. lol. But he looked so good last night and oh! He's just so cute! LOL. And the best part was.. he gave me a hug! That's right! A HUG!!! Sure I know it was just a hug .... but it was a hug! YAY! Calm Down now.. gotta calm down. te-he. You know everytime I hear Phil Collins now I think of Jacob. Yeah... I'm stuck. This could be bad. I mean he just wants to be friends. Why can't i just agree with that? Just friends.. just friends!!... but he is just oh so wonderfulness!
