An Evening Out
Yay! So I finally had an opportunity to make it out to the Church and I must say, I had a great time! I love going dancing and I just love it at The Church. Joe Virus played a great mix the other night too.
So we, Sam and I, started the night off by watching his VNV Nation DVD. It was awesome. I totally loved it. They had all my favorite songs and the show was brilliant. We then got ready and headed out. Before getting to the club, we picked up Jesse (z3ro). He seemed to be quite in a giddy mood and was quite talkative. Once we got into Dallas, Sam put on some Michael Jackson, he cranked the music up, we rolled down our windows, and RTFOed down Main Street. It was really fun.
Once there, I went on my own little merry way, checking out the scene, seeing who was there, and just getting a feel again for the place. I ran into several of my old friends that I had made over the summer and just enjoyed being back. I even ran into an old friend that I went to college with a couple years back. It was kewl to see him and apparently it had been his first time to The Church. Anyways... as you know me, I was on the dance floor and tearing it up. I didn't miss a beat. You don't forget how to dance, it's like riding a bicycle. hehehe. My friend Jason from school eventually appeared on the dance floor and danced with me. It was fun. I hadn't expected him to dance with me. And I was quite shocked when he held me close and nuzzled up next to me. While we were dancing, I wasn't quite sure, but I thought he licked me. Come to find out later, while we were sitting outside on the patio chatting, he did in fact lick me. **giggle**
This night was interesting because for the most part, I don't usually talk to anyone. But it was different. I hung outside with Jason for a while, I met a couple of his friends, I ran into some friends of Pip and we talked as well. And I found out some interesting things from these girls. One was very nice and we just talked. She said that she hadn't talked to Pip in like three weeks. I talk to Pip practically everyday so she asked how he was. I said he was doing well, but we had just had a fight so.. I couldn't quite say. The fight Pip and I had, wasn't so much really a fight. We had spent the weekend together the other week and it had been really fun. However, for some reason I hadn't been in the mood and emotionally I was just off. So I didn't flirt or keep Pip as close to me as I usually do. Then I had told him that I needed him to back off and stuff. From that he made the connection that there wasn't any hope and gave up. He went to Austin and I was a little jealous because he was going to be staying with a girl. I like Pip a lot and I'm selfish and clingy, and well, I conside Pip mine. So, I was a little edgy about it. When we talked on Christmas, I was very needy and flirty with Pip. He didn't tell me hardly anything at all about what happened, but I got the picture that he had moved on and had another girl. This made me quite upset and I just stopped talking to him. So we hadn't talked since. .. Wow.. I went off into a little tangent there. Anywho.. I asked her why she hadn't talked to Pip in like three weeks and she replied, "Because of all the drugs."Ummm.. drugs? According to her, Pip was still smoking Pot and stuff. Interesting. He told me he had quite like, 3 months ago or so. No.. longer than that, he quit right before he met me. So when she was telling me this, I was a little worried and a little more angry. Has he been lying to me all this time? Should I believe this girl? She seems pretty sincere. I don't know. So that is my little Pip thing going on now. We still haven't talked.
After this I went back inside and decided to do some more dancing. Oh man.. Joe was just playing some awesome stuff! I got my groove on and had a blast. But all things don't last forever and I got tired, and some of the songs weren't really songs I liked to dance to. So, I went to see what was going on in the smaller room. Now there is a guy who I've noticed a few times at The Church but have never said anything to. Most of the time I can't because I'll be talking with Pip or someone and I don't want to just ditch them to start flirting with someone else. That would be totally rude. But I was alone, He was alone, and so I decided to Carpe Diem!
His name is Cody. He's an american indian. He's an electrician. He doesn't generally talk to people. Hasn't spoken with a woman or something in like 3 years. He got a new puppy for christmas that he just absolutely adores. Is highly into Death Metal and Rock. His cousin is the lead singer of Trippin Daisy. He's old fashioned when it comes to girls. Hates that his friends sleep around with all sorts of girls. He likes hispanic girls, thinks glasses are a turn on, and thinks I'm pretty. lol. We talked for a long time and just hung out. It was kewl. He's a really nice guy. It's funny how I always seem to find the decent nice kind of guys at the Church. Not only that, but the views I have about men, they usually have the same ones about women. Wierd. Lets see.. so far there's been Brek, Pip, and now Cody. hehehe.
So after a while Jesse and Sam were ready to leave. Jesse was completely smashed and Sam was exhausted. I drove us all back home, Jesse demanded we be at his New Years party, Insisted he'd hold Sam's birthday Bash, Sam had to get Taco's from Jack in the Box, and I didn't get into bed till 4:15 am. It was quite a fun evening.
