My Ministry
A few years ago I was attending a church called "The Metroport Fellowship".. aka, "The Met." I went to the youth group on Wednesday nights and really learned alot. I had a few good friends, and grew closer to God. I don't know how it started but I was in charge of making a small youth magazine entitled, The Zine (pronounced Zeen). It was a weekly magazine that a couple friends and I did, but I was the Chief-in-Editor. Looking back at it, I wasn't very good. For the most part I did everything the night before or threw it together the day of Cross-Culture (that is the name of the youth group). Reading them, I can't believe some of the stuff I wrote and how much i didn't edit it. There were typos galor and .. **sigh**... Anyways... Now that I'm at Intersection I've begun to feel like I should be more active for Christ. Because I hate feeling like I'm not doing anything for the Lord.
Me: Ok.. Jesus. What can I do for you?
God: Well.. you're thinking too small. (This must be true.. b/c well.. God is a big God) And don't forget what your mother always says, "Don't Limit God." So don't limit me.
Me: Alrighty Lord. There is the Zine.. i really enjoyed that.
God: Not just a magazine for one church group.. but....
Me: (Then it hit me!) It could be a magazine for all the youth of the Nation! Maybe even the world! Wow! Thanks God! **huggles**
So now I'm busy working on the new magazine. It's going to be great. Wow.. I never thought I'd have my own ministry. This is awesome!
