Date with Breck
So on Friday I had my first actual 'date' with Breck. It was actually really fun. We had talked during the week and hadn't decided 100% what to do. Our basic fall back plan was to watch a movie at his place. While talking to my brother on suggestions of something fun to do, he said to go watch the new Van Helsing movie. Since I've been living in the costume shop the past two months and haven't been watching much t.v. lately, I had no idea what he was talking about. Of course he flipped out and forced me to watch all the previews and check out the website. I'm so glad he did because they were awesome and I knew that is what I wanted to do. So Breck called me up on Friday so we could finalize our plans. I told him I knew what we should do and he seemed open to hearing my suggestion. In fact, he wanted to see the same movie. Oh yeah! Anywho... We met at the movie theatre at around 8:00 Friday night. He is so cute. So we watched the movie and it was totally awesome! The monsters were so kewl and it was fun on the twist that they added to them. They were the same old monster characters that we are used to, but they are taken to this totally new dimension. I know the vampires are supposed to be evil and everything, but they were all so beautiful. There is something so seductive about Dracula. **thrums** Well we both really enjoyed the movie. Good to know we like the same type of movies.
After the movie we drove to my brother's apartment. The drive should have only taken like 20 minutes, but I took the wrong exit and ended up going the long way, but whatever! We got to the party a little after 11, so we were just being 'fashionably late.' **wink wink** It was kewl though, at least we weren't the first people there. By the time we got there, there was already a nice size crowd. Oh I guess I should mention that he was having a party that night. **snicker** Sam of course was DJing, that's his new thing. He likes to DJ. The music he plays is pretty kick ass too. Though on occasion he plays some crap songs, like that Hey Yah song. Man I hate that song! But he does it to appease his audience. Cindy, one of our friends, was so glad I got there. She had mentioned that the party go-ers were kind of sepearated. There was a good group of goth/punks and an equal group of preppy/jocks. How that happened... i have no clue! But everyone seemed to have a great time. We danced a lot. I got to see some people I hadn't seen in a long time. And there even was a dance off between two of the Goths and Preps. It was pretty kewl! lol. At one point, everyone had to rush inside and the music stopped because there were cops patrolling around. But they quickly left and the party got started again.
It was really hot in Sam's apartment and after mucho dancing, Breck and I thought it'd be good to go outside and get some fresh air. It was beautiful that night. The air was cool and soft. There was a light breeze and the stars were bright and sparkly. Breck and I stood outside for a while just talking. After about 15-20 minutes the door flung open and we could hear hysterical screaming. People started pouring out and leaving. We had no clue what was going on! We just stood there and waited for someone to tell us what happened. Apparently, some guy had taken all this girl's beer and when she had confronted him about it, he pushed her. And it wasn't just some little tap, he seriously shoved her. Of course she flipped out, and the party was over. It took another half hour before the friends of the pusher guy and himself left, and the girls wouldn't leave until they did. Breck, Sam, and Danny had to go downstairs and do some ground control because they were worried more crap was going to occur. Apparently, no one read the sign on Sam's door. No Drama Allowed!!! So at about 1:30 the party was dead. The only ones who remained were Sam, Tiffany, Me, Breck, Lisa and her new boyfriend Jacob, Amberly and her boyfriend Jacob, and Danny (Amberly's Ex). We all just sat around and talked, laughed and had fun. Lisa and Amberly were so drunk! It was hilarious. I wish we had gotten all that on tape. Then Lisa, Amberly, and Jacob and Jacob left. Sam turned off the lights, put on some Mortis, and lit a candle. It was nice. Just a small intimate groups of friends. This gave us time also to ourselves, kind of calm down and relax. Also of course, it gave Breck and me some time together. Again.. he is a great kisser. **giggles** Like I've said many times... oh so soft and gentle. **blush** It got quiet and everyone got sleepy. Breck went home around 4, and we all crashed at Sam's place. It was a most eventful evening and turned out to be a lot more fun that I had imagined.
