I Love Dragons!
So the new "Reign of Fire" movie came out today. And so far from what I've heard it's pretty good. When I first saw the preview I thought, "Kewl... a dragon movie!" But my hopes were soon squashed as the preview continued on. Why is it that all people have to show dragons as being evil fire breathing beasts!? I just don't get it. Ever since the beginning of time they have had a bad rap. But we have to realize that humans in general fear anything that they do not understand and will do anything in their power to destroy it. But that isn't fair to those creatures or beings. If we took the time to really study and get to know about dragons we would realize that they are awesome and beautiful creatures that simply want to live a happy porductive life like everyone else. In all my studies I have found that dragons tend to be wise and helpful animals but because of man's rash behavior and minds the dragons have become wary of us and have taken to avoiding us. The only movie I have seen where a dragon's true nature is some what displayed is "Dragon Heart." I wish that the people of this age and generation would look past their grown-up four wall minds, open up their hearts and go back to their youthful selfs where their eyes will be opened to the wonders that surround them. Don't believe the stereotypes that we have set up for ourselves but go out and discover the truth for yourself. Go Dragons!!
