The Plan

So you all know about my new found love, Rick. Well my bro and his wife have been going crazy because y0ou see... i just won't shut up about it. So they told me I need to do something about it. Well, I've decided it's good advice. Carpe Diem, right? I mean the worst that could happen is he doesn't like me that way. I can live with that, it's happened so often I'm starting to get used to it. (Well, maybe not) Anyways... here is the plan. I usually hate Valentine's Day. I absolutely loathe the day. But when you are smitten, you just don't care anymore and want to make your significant other happy. (Yes I know he isn't mine yet, but it just makes it easier this way) I want it to be simple but to basically get it out in the open. Rick lives in a house behind the church we go to and I'm assuming he's going to be there that Friday Night. I'm hoping he's going to be there. The gifts I'll be bringing are a single rose and a handful of hershey's kisses. **hint hint** hehehe. I'll dress casual/cute and arrive probably sometime around 5 or 6, depending on when i get back from school and how long it takes me to get all cutified. I'm really hoping he'll be there because I don't want to have to leave it on his door step. That is kind of... impersonal and unromantic. Well maybe not so much unromantic. How many of us would love to come home one day and find a rose and some candy waiting for us from an anonymous lover. Should I remain anonymous if he isn't there? Should I leave a note saying it's specifically from me? Oh.. i could leave my number on there so when he finds it he can call me! Oh Fitzie I just love how your mind works. (For those of you who don't know, my new nickname is Fitzie. Many thanks to Branthen) Yes, that's my plan. Over all a decent plan.

P.S. Did I tell you what my bro and my sis-in-law are getting me for my b-day? My very own picture of Rick. hehehe. I can't wait! <-- **obsessed much? I think so**

The Truth about Molly and Star

Christmas was coming quickly upon us and Mom and I were trying to decide what to get Dad. He has basically everything and never gives us a list of what he wants. So we sat down and were thinking. We thought. It had to be something that would just blow him away, something unexpected, and something that he would really love. You know, one of those gifts that you put alot of time and effort into to prove your love for that person. Mom was a little iffy about her idea, but she knew it was something Dad wanted and that he would never suspect. We decided to get him a puppy that he could train to be a hunting dog. (My dad loves to hunt.) At first we thought a Springer Spaniel would be good, but then we decided a beagle would be best. When he was a kid he and his dad had beagles for hunting. Being that my computer didn't have internet yet and Dad's did, I couldn't research about Beagle Breeders at home, and made it a mission of my own to locate one at school. I got some names and numbers and gave them to my mother. She called two and found one close to home. Five beagle baby girls, all new and ready for delivery around Christmas time. It was perfect! Mom prayed that whichever of the puppy came up to her when she arrived would be the one for Dad. She talked with the man and he showed her around, then lead her to the box where the puppies were being kept. There were the puppies, all cute and small. As she leaned over to take a look, two of the puppies shot towards her and wanted to be held, while the remainder of the pups kept to themselves. These were the once chosen for Dad by the Lord. :) So she paid for them and the man kept them for us till Christmas eve. Mom brought them home Christmas Eve night while Dad was at work, so Kelly and I lavished affection on them, gave them a bath, and just had fun playing with them. The pups were put in their box and we headed out for church. We came home later that night and had dinner. It was a nice evening just sitting there enjoying each other's company. Then we heard it, "Yip Yip Yip!" We all looked at one another and giggled, but Dad just kept on eating happily as if nothing happened. He hadn't heard. Then again, "Yip Yip Yip!" We couldn't believe that Dad couldn't hear them. Perhaps because he didn't know but we did. So after dinner we began opening our Christmas Gifts. Before we had gotten to our first one, Mom came into the room holding the pups and plopped them into Dad's Lap. "These are for you!" Dad held them for a moment, trying to understand and take in the moment. He spent the rest of the night chasing them around the house and loving on them. He was quite thrilled.

So the puppies are named Molly and Star. Molly is the smaller puppy, probably the runt. But she is quite the fiesty one. She is very outgoing and hardly afraid of anything. She is the first to explore new land and territories. In fact, just yesterday while Dad took them for a walk around the pond, she decided (on the coldest day of the year) that she would go for a swim. **splash** She jumped right into the pond and started doggy paddling out. Dad was a little worried that he'd have to go in after her, but he called for her and she came right back. She has more white on her body than Star, but now in the white patch on her neck, many small black spots have began to appear. She has a very cute face and is just adorable. Star is the bigger of the puppy. She is taller than Molly and longer (Molly however is fatter). Star aquired her name because she has a single white spot on the back of her neck. Molly got her name from a BillBoard on the side of the road; Mom was driving by it after picking out the pups and it said "Happy Birthday Molly." Star is the more dominant of the two despite Molly's aggressiveness. But she is more cautious and wary when it comes to explore. She rarely goes in head first, and waits for Molly to have explored it. Star, however, is the more people oriented of the two. She enjoys sitting at your feet and just being with you, while Molly is running around the yard like a wild banshee. So far Dad has been training them and they are doing quite well. They start puppy classes in a couple weeks. They can sit and come on command (unless they are distracted or just flat out don't want to). For the most part they like attacking each other and wrestling. If they aren't killing one another they are either, sleeping, eating, or going to the bathroom. hehehe. They are just so cute. We have got them to wear their collars just fine and walk on a leash.

Their newest best friend is our older dog Buster. Buster doesn't like people, he doesn't like other animals, and for the most part is a big grump or big baby. He wasn't too happy with the prospects of new puppies. They were too rambunxious (spelling?), too loud, and too scary. He would growl at them whenever he saw them and try to bite them. It didn't seem like it would work out and that we'd have to seperate them like we do with my ferret. But slowly we let them to start interacting with each other. After a few nips, growls, and laying down the law by Buster, they have become good friends. Not perfect, but hey we can have them in the house together without worrying. Buster has even become and advocate for us. When we need to do something and can't watch the puppies for a few minutes, we can trust him to keep watch on them. The other night a dog came into our yard and Buster chased it away and protected the puppies. He usually doesn't get down with them and play with them, they are just a bit too rough for an old pooch. But he does enjoy watching them play and sometimes just for kicks he chases them around the yard.

The Jerk from New Jersey

So during the Christmas break I had nothing to do and spent alot of time online.. i mean alot! I even got a webcam so my friends could see me and had quite a bit of fun with it. Not that kind of fun, but it was something new and interesting. Spending time online helped me reaquant (spelling?) myself with some old friends, talk more with current friends, and make new friends. Unfortunately a webcam can also draw in the wrong kind of company. I got an IM (Instant Message for those of you who don't understand computer lingo) from a guy with a screenname Hamtaro..... well I checked out his profile and he looked cute and seemed to be nice. So we got to talking for a couple nights and it went o.k. Then we started to Cam Chat... everything went downhill from there. While we were talking, the next thing i know he pulls down his pants and proceeds to show me his... man toy. Ugh! Most of his conversation then turned very sexual and nothing I said seemed to deture him. After a while we changed subjects and just talked. Now other than his little sex episode he seemed to be a very nice young man. Right...... as soon as he found out a christian he decided that he should teach me how much of an idiot I was and began to bombard me with insults. Normally I wouldn't have bothered with typing a blog like this in but he insisted that I wrote him into my diary. So here it is. Hope you enjoy it Jim.

The New Guy in my Life

Ok... so i was quite upset about the whole Aaron thing.. But I'm over it. I've moved on. It's a blessing. It really is. I'm so glad that I can go through my day and life without thinking about him and getting all depressed. It's amazing what the Lord will do. So I've started going to my bro's church on Sunday Nights for Intersection, the youth meetings. Just thought it'd be fun and it gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my bro, his wife, and the Lord. A while back Sam (that's my bro) showed me a video he created featuring the Youth Pastor, Rick, in a little Spider man skit. That was where i first saw him. Yes i thought he was cute. But didn't think much of it. So i started going to Intersection. It's really fun. The worship is great, the music awesome, and the messages are wonderful and have alot of meaning. At first I would sit upstairs in the Booth with Sam and Kelly. But now Kelly and I sit with everyone else. Anyways i'm getting off track. O.K. I don't remember when it was that I first began to like Rick... just kind of happened. I let it slip to Sam and Kelly and Sam just said, "I knew it!" and then he laughed. So ever since then I've been hounded by Sam and Kelly about it. Anyways.. I always get all giggly and stuff. About a week or two ago, Sam and Rick were working on some music and they were at Sam's apt. It fit really nicely b/c Kelly invited me over on the same night and we had dinner together. Oh it was pure bliss. :) hehehe. Just to see him sitting there and actually getting to talk to him (well i didn't talk at all, i just listened to him talk), and just being with him made me so happy. **sigh** He is such a cutie and he's tall, and funny, and nice, and smart, and oh so hot! **blush**
Ok.. well last night was another step in the Rick odessey. Had a wonderful Intersection service and all that. Afterwards I really wanted to tell Rick how much i loved his songs, and how i thought he was so funny, and all that. I was quite nervous but Kelly kicked me in his direction and after a little bit of waiting I finally got to him. Kelly went to shake his hand and he laughed at us, "What are you doing? I'm not going to shake your hands! You are my girlfriends!" Then he proceeded to giving Kelly and Me hugs. Oh!! I hadn't expected this! I was in his arms! Something I've dreamed about but never expected.. i was in Rick's arms being hugged! Oh i could have melted into a big pile of mush right there. **sighs** Then i told him about his songs and being funny etc etc.. oh the flutterbies in my stomach were going crazy, my legs were jello and weak, and my face was burning bright red. Yeah... and that was it. Now.. i can't stop thinking about him. And I'm just head over heels for him. That's just my life.....
