All my questions answered
So about three weeks ago I was propped up in front of my computer as always and trying to write a paper. The word here is "trying". You all have seen my away messages, "Bah Writing a freaking paper **rips it to shreds** " and my personal favorite, "Should be doing homework, don't wanna." :) Anyways, that's not the point. So I'm sitting here and suddenly I get the Instant Message. For a second I was like, "Do I want to answer this? I mean I should work on my paper. Probably another jerk just out there looking for cyber sex or something." ( Yeah I get alot of trash IMs). So I ignored it for a minute and typed another paragraph to my paper, ok, more like sentence. I clicked back over to the Instant Message and then checked the profile. ( I never respond to IMs unless they have a pic or some sort of info on their profile). So it oulled up and there is this picture of a guy half turned so you can't really see what he looks like. But from his clothes and the back ground he's a punk in highschool. I like punks so I thought we could chat for a bit. Responding to that instant message was the best thing that ever happened to me, well.. second best. The best is Jesus. Yeah, definately Jesus. At the time I wasn't even looking for love or anything like that. I was too busy with our production of "The Laramie Project" and trying to finish all kinds of projects for school. It's just so amazing. I mean .. BAM, it just happened. His name is Richard Brandon Mead. (aka Rick. or My Rick). He's 20 years old and in the Army. He grew up in California, his parents currently live in Oklahoma City (where he'll be moving into once he gets out), and he is stationed Right now in North Carolina. He's getting out of the Army soon due to a back injury which involved jumping out of a plane and a disfunctional parachute. Thank God he's ok! Once he's out he's going to a Christian College and planning on being a Youth Minister. Wow. I'm so blessed to have Met him. He's so focused on God and such a Godly Guy. I can't believe that the Lord sent him to me and that he found me. Sometimes it just amazes me how much he likes me and how much he adores me. I mean like 4 days after we started talking he called his mother up and told her all about me. And now, he carries pictures around of me and shows them to all his buddies. His friends constantly tell me how he always talks about me and never shuts up. It's just so hard to believe that someone could like me show much. I mean.. it's just me. Oh but he's just fabulous. I've talked with his parents and according to Rick they just love me. So we're good. Just gotta convince my parents that he's so great. My mom already suspects and isn't too pleased. Yeah Rick and I talk every night online and sometimes he calls me. We see each other via Webcam and I must say Fwa Fwa and two thumbs up. He is such a cutie. When i first saw him I thought he was like 15 b/c he has such baby face. But he's just perfect. **le sigh** I'm so happy. The Lord has just blessed me so much and I give him thanks and praise for my life and for Rick. Now I can answer all those questions from the March 31st Blog.
