If only...
Yes Yes You've heard me quite oftenly ramble on and on and on about guys. You probably have noticed by now that I'm a bit boy crazy. What can you expect from a 20 yr old girl?! But there is one in particular that is very near and dear to my heart. His name is Kenny and you may have seen his picture featured on my website. Anyways.. I met Kenny about two years ago.. well.. maybe a year and a half ago. We were both freshman at the University of Oklahoma. It's kind of funny, I was hanging out with Danny, my roommates Ex and an interest at the time, when we first met. Danny and Kenny had met on an online game a while back and happened to go to the same school and live in the same dorm building. So Kenny was my roommates, Ex's friend. At first I didn't think much of Kenny because Hey, I was focusing on Danny. Then one evening out of the blue I get an Instant Message from some guy. I thought I recognized the name as Kenny's but I couldn't quite remember. To make a long story short we started talking more frequently and basically became friends, not that we did much together. Once we went out to the mall and to dinner. But that was about it. Most of the time we just chatted online. And you know me.. I started liking him. He is cute, I can't help it!
During Thanksgiving Break I came home to Texas and kept in touch with Kenny via IM and on night right before I went to bed, he called me Pumpkin. It's kind of silly but at that point I was hooked! Poor Kenny .. for the next three or four weeks I drove him nuts. We won't get into the details. But I'd have to say one of my biggest regrets about leaving OU is having left Kenny behind. I honestly think that had I stayed, something might have happened between us. For the past year we've talked on and off. Nothing really important, just kind of staying in touch and keeping each other company in times of boredom. But an amazing change has happened. I can't give total props to my webcam, but I'm positive that it has helped in improving our friendship. We talk much more often now. I love having him as a friend and each day I grow more and more attatched. Perhaps I shouldn't because Kenny lives in Tulsa and well.. I'm in Dallas. That's about 5 hours away. Parts of me however wants to keep hope that something someday could happen. Sure we have our differences, but there is just something about him.
Kenny is one of the most sweetest and cutest guys i've ever met. There are times when we are talking when he'll make these little comments that wrench at my heart and make me want to just fall in love with him. He's so funny and it's nice to find someone real and who'll stand up for what he believes in. Kenny is just a great guy. He has his problems and faults, but don't we all? Though it's hard to believe, I'm not perfect either. :) So if you are reading this Kenny, I just want you to know how much I care about you and no matter what, I'll always be here for you.
